Our School - Children's Centre

Trinity Gardens Children's Centre is part of the wider school community. Our Children’s Centre is one of forty two across South Australia. We are a Centre for Early Childhood Development and Parenting; bringing together care, education, health, community development activities and family services for families and their young children from birth to eight years of age.

At Trinity Gardens Children's Center we aim to help parents and children get the support they need, when they need it, within their own community. We have a wide range of teachers, qualified early childhood educators, a Community Development Coordinator and Family Services Coordinator who work together with families, to provide quality learning programs and care to support children's development, health, education and well-being.

The Trinity Gardens Preschool program (also known as The Early Learning Centre) although located in its own building, is a large part of the education and care that is provided to children. We provide 15 hours of Preschool education for 88 children, with children attending 2 full days per week. At The Early Learning Centre we are inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the school which connects beautifully with Nature Play and the educational philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Rudolf Steiner. We value each child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. Our aim is to provide a play based preschool curriculum that offers multiple opportunities for children to express their interests, transferring the learning from one context to another and inspiring deep curiosity. This not only drives our future learning focus but also reflects our high expectations for children’s individual achievements.

The Children’s Centre aims to be a friendly place for families to meet, learn more about parenting, gain advice and information on health, personal and family support. On any given day we have several play and parenting groups running throughout the Centre. You will see and experience strong, vibrant interactions with families and children enjoying the community space that we offer.
